This test uses the video "Waters of Life," a 17-minute program produced by the North Carolina National Estuarine Research Reserve.
The first clip is designed for best viewing on a 56K dial-up connection . The image size is 160x120 pixels at about 10 frames per second. The file size is about 4.2 megabytes.
DIAL-UP
The second clip is designed for best viewing on a network or high speed connection (200kbs or better). The image size is 196x144 pixels at about 10 frames per second. If your connection speed is slow or uneven the video may "pause" until the network catches up. The file size is about 26 megabytes. If your connection cannot maintain a good speed try downloading the entire clip using the links at the bottom of this page.
HIGH SPEED
Your connection "speed" will be indicated by the kilobits/sec measurement in the lower left corner of the RealPlayer G2. You can look at the ever-changing quality of your internet connection by bringing up the "statistics" option under VIEW on the RealPlayer G2.
